childhood led me wrong
I'm never going to have a successful one-night stand until I move past the concept of stranger danger.
The Movie Talker decided we didn't have enough in common to warrant a second date. Which is probably true, but I'm still not sure how you can decide that so quickly. Maybe Gay is most definitely not gay, but things there are strange. When he gets nervous, he gets loud. Not in volume, but in mannerisms, if that makes any sense. I gave him another ride home this week, and when we got to his place, he started telling me how he looked forward to a certain day of the week because he knew he would see me and get to flirt with me. According to him, this is a highlight of the week. And then he got out of the car and went inside. That's twice now that I've driven him home and neither of us have made any moves. I've decided I'm sick of being the aggressive one and I want to be pursued for a little bit, so he needs to step up his game if he wants to play at all.
There's also a new entry who has not yet warranted a name. I kept making eye contact with this really cute guy in dark nerdy glasses a few nights ago. When I saw him talking to one of my friends, I swooped in to chat with her a bit. Here comes the shallowness: I consider her a little stupid, so he is tainted by association. However, I did give him my number. He called the next day, but I didn't recognize the number so I let it go to voicemail. We've since exchanged a few texts.
